‘I Believe In Love’ came to me in a recent time of darkness. As much pain as I was feeling, as emotional as I was, this song gave me strength with every word. The power that words can have on us still amazes me.
Feeling the words of this song and being able to relate to Jessie while in tears acknowledging that ‘even when it’s hard living with my scars it never amounts to nothing ’cause I believe in love’.
In most situations, I try to have an optimistic outlook and see what I can learn. With most perceivable painful experiences, I try to smile. But some days, some situations, some memories can be so painful regardless of the optimism and positivity.
